Hello, my name is Dorette Snover.

Bonjour, Buongiorno, and Welcome!

Starting seeds, kneading sourdough bread, and finding paths through abandoned fields; that’s where you’ll find me.

Life in the kitchen has made me a forager of delectable tales.

Hear Us Roar Podcast with Maggie Smith and Rising Stars on Voyage Raleigh. As I work on my wild DNA story, I re-discovered “Food For Thought” from my alma mater, Albright College. And in a similar vein, “Who’s Milkin’ This Cow?” on Eat, Darling, Eat.

“How Did the Bread of Dreams Come To Be?” and “Vin de Noix- The Drunken Poetry of Walnuts” on Women’s Writer’s, Women’s Books, retraces some of my fascination for, and in, France.

Curious about the 2nd novel in the Psomi Mistresses series? Head to: The Rambling Epicure: A Woodcock, Girolles, and a French Inn

I call Chapel Hill, NC home and am delighted to have founded the C’est si Bon! Cooking School. Equally thrilled and grateful and proud to call it a second generation business, with my oldest son, Erick, and his SO, Abbie. C’est si Bon! continues to offer boutique culinary experiences locally and around the world.

I love being the wife of a beekeeper, and the mother of two extraordinary sons. I feel extremely lucky, and look forward to more times with my granddaughter and grandson.
